CADE – Civil Society Alliances for Digital Empowerment

[Update] Applications are now open for the CADE Capacity Development Programme for CSOs 2025–2026. This fully-funded learning journey strengthens the ability of CSOs, especially those from the Global South, to engage meaningfully in digital governance processes. Deadline to apply: 30 November 2025.

CADE aims to enhance the capacity of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for effective advocacy in multilateral and multistakeholder internet governance (IG) processes. It will foster inclusive participation, particularly from the Global South, and promote a human-centric policy approach in shaping digital policies and standards.

The CADE consortium, led by Diplo, includes expert organisations from different regions. With a shared commitment to inclusive, evidence-based IG policymaking, we bring together diverse expertise, outreach, and methodologies.

The Civil Society Alliances for Digital Empowerment (CADE) is a project co-funded by the European Union.
