As an ex-government trade official and negotiator, and with over 15 years of experience in legal and policy analysis within national and international multilateral trade, development and investment contexts, Ms Kampel provides legal and policy support to governments to navigate international trade and investment rules and negotiate international trade and investment agreements as well as evaluate emerging trends with respect to new generation trade issues. She translates, decodes and simplifies global trade and investment rules for the private sector and small business community, as well as formulating and implementing strategic value propositions for businesses to trade cross-border.
By assisting the public and private sector to navigate contemporary global legal, regulatory and sustainability challenges, Ms Kampel empowers relevant economic actors to tackle extreme poverty and inequality in order to achieve economic competitiveness, growth and sustainable development, in line with the global SDG imperatives.
